I have always been a story-seeker and a storyteller. I’ve felt the vibration of ancient legends in the cells of my body, known that somehow they are etched in my bones, waiting to be revealed for their highest purpose. And I can tell you, there’s nothing quite like a healing story, served up like a hearty stew for the soul, like a magical tincture that can evoke every shade of every emotion. That can bring wonder… wisdom… hope… truth.

As a graduate and storycrafter of UCSD’s Lit/Writing program, I have felt the profound and undeniable healing of writing and rewriting my personal myth, shedding my old small self and stepping into my Heroine Self. As a facilitator, social change agent and counselor within Shakti Rising’s holistic recovery program for women healing from trauma and addiction, I have learned to recognize and welcome the most brilliant and whole Self of those I meet; to call that part forward as they journey through their own deserts and darkness, and into their own Light. As a hypnotherapist trained through HCH Institute, I am committed to guiding seekers to a deeper understanding and appreciation of all of who they are, and open up to who they are becoming. I believe that everyone has the internal resources they need to thrive and succeed in their life - sometimes they just need a little support in journeying to discover those resources, dusting them off and putting them to use!
