Naturopathic Medical Care

Bio-Identical Hormone Prescribing

When applicable and needed, Dr. Amanda can provide you with a salivary hormone testing kit. This way we have accurate information about your individual hormone levels, and if supplementation is needed, we can use the most natural form of hormone available. Bio-identical hormones mimic human hormones in your body and are plant-based. This makes them the most natural option for hormone prescribing. They can also be completely customized to meet your individual concerns and achieve optimum hormone levels.

Nutrient Injections

Our office provides a variety of different vitamins for injection. These include B6,  B12, B-Complex, and other compounds containing amino acids and lipotropic agents to assist in energy and weight loss goals.

Clinical Nutrition

Dr. Amanda can provide you with general nutritional advice to meet your concerns, or we can do an in-depth evaluation of your eating habits to customize a program for you. Special dietary programs are available for insulin resistance, diabetes, hormone balance, inflammation and various other conditions. Other available diagnostic options may include food allergy testing, amino acid assay or extensive functional testing for vitamin, mineral and nutrient testing.

Herbal Medicine

Naturopathic doctors are extensively trained in the use of botanical medicines. This may include the addition of single herbs, tonics, or custom compounded herbal tinctures for individual patient concerns. Herbs can be used in food, powder, capsule, liquid and other forms depending upon the specific purpose of use and intent. They will find the best options for each patients lifestyle and concerns.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a system of medicine which involves treating the individual with highly diluted substances, given mainly in tablet form, with the aim of triggering the body’s natural system of healing. Based on their specific symptoms, a Naturopath will match the most appropriate medicine to each patient.

Lifestyle Counseling

Along with providing you with a customized nutrition protocol, you will likely be given a page of lifestyle recommendations for you to implement at home. These may include exercise, sleep, folk/home remedies or home hydrotherapy suggestions.
