Following many years of successfully providing counseling services to children, adults and families in Ohio, Serena moved to Florida where she is now providing counseling for children ages 4 and up, adults, couples and families at Family Counseling Center, Saint Petersburg Office at 2525 Pasadena Avenue, So., Suite M.

Serena's goal is to assist you to explore and discover your own answers from within, and to remember, recover and honor your true, authentic self so you can live life with greater ease and abundant  joy.

Having studied and practiced many holistic approaches to health and well-being, as well as a variety of life philosophies, Serena's approach to therapy is from a holistic perspective, taking into consideration the relationship between mind, body and spirit.

Serena graduated  Summa cum Laude from Capital University with a Bachelor of Social Work degree and received a Master of Social Work degree, with honors, from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. In  Florida, she is a  Licensed Clinical Social Worker and in Ohio she is a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor. Serena is also certified as a Spiritual Life Coach, a Gottman Couples Counselor, and a Hypnotherapist.

She brings her education, experience and intuition to her practice and particularly her creativity in her work with children, adolescents, and adults.  Having provided counseling for people of all ages, from all backgrounds she has acquired a broad awareness of the variety of challenges many face and has witnessed the intrinsic ability we each have to overcome those challenges and to thrive.
