Counseling provides a unique opportunity to form a relationship with an empathic professional who will partner with you to help you create the change you desire.  I am honored and humbled to be a part of profession that is dedicated to meeting people where they are and working with them to move towards where they want to be.  I consider each of my clients and the stories they have shared with me to be a gift. Individual Counseling
People come to consider counseling for many different reasons at many different points in their lives.  The consideration is often prompted by discomfort due to a change or transition in one's life.  Other times it is prompted by a general feeling of sadness or anxiety that seems to have no explanation.    Whether there is a clearly defined issue you are struggling with or a general sense of unrest, counseling can be a very helpful way of working through the pain and coming out on the other side better able to enjoy life.

Career Counseling
Careers are often researched in terms of economic potential and prestige that could be garnered from them.  Sometimes careers aren't researched at all and people just fall into jobs.  Neither of these methods are likely to lead to a satisfying and fulfilling career.  Career research should always begin with an in depth and thorough assessment of one's self including, interests, skills, values and personality.  A full and complete self assessment will provide a solid foundation for career research.  The integration of self assessment and research materials will result in an informed decision about the next step in your career.

Couples Counseling

Presentations on topics such as Stress Management and Postpartum Depression have been facilitated for various community organizations.  Workshops can also be created for and tailored to your organization's needs and population.
