We will spend the necessary time to answer all of your questions.  During your first visit we will set aside time to answer any questions you may have, as well as take a full set of records. Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry specializing in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of jaw, face, and bite irregularities (malocclusion). Gaps, crowding, structural deficiencies, etc. can be transformed to a pleasant and attractive smile.

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommend all children see an orthodontist by age 7. When treatment is started early, the orthodontist can guide the growth of the jaw and guide incoming permanent teeth. Early treatment can also regulate the width of the upper and lower dental arches, gain space for permanent teeth, avoid the need for permanent teeth extractions, reduce likelihood of impacted permanent teeth, correct thumb-sucking, and eliminate abnormal swallowing or speech problems. Simply stated, early treatment will facilitate orthopedic correction of the jaws and habits.
