Our experience with Dr. Hatasaka was extremely educational! We appreciate his thorough attention to explaining the facets of treatment and my particular condition. It was only when we were on our way home that we realized that we felt like he knew everything about our disease and nothing about us. Our time in the office consisted of approximately an hour straight of his explaination followed at the end by, 'So, do you have any questions for me.' We appreciated him asking but by that point we would been sitting in silence and taking in so much information for so long that we had no idea which of our many questions we would thought of at home to ask and simply responded, 'not that we can think of'. We loved our experience with the staff and we see a tremendous level of expertise and understanding in Dr.Hatasaka, we would have loved the opportunity to review our medical history together or discuss with him the particulars of our personal experience and have the opportunity to receive care directed specifically toward us.

He was kind and very knowledgeable. Our meeting was very thorough and I appreciated his urgency to obtain an accurate diagnosis quickly. We have been to other specialists before and he was the best we have met with.

Dr. Hatasaka was very knowledgeable. He asked us thorough questions and reviewed answers that we had previously submitted. He was also very clear on what the next steps would be.

I really liked that he took time to explain things to us and give us reasons behind why he or other doctors have made the decisions for us up to this point that they have. I liked hearing him talk about research that supports or does not support different approaches, because I come from a profession where I understand the importance of it. I like how he weighs the cost/benefit of doing different tests and whether it's worth it to us. I like that he did not seem rushed during the visit and it felt personal. In the past, I have felt like some of our doctors/nurses have no clue who we are or what our history is and each time my husband and I have to explain our situation over again.
