I always have a great experience here. The nurses and doctor make you feel at home and welcome. I am very comfortable with talking to them about anything and any questions I may have. Very great team.
I had a 17 and 1/2 hour labor, the last 6 was hard labor. For the first 12 hours I was able to walk around, talk with family, and my husband would put pressure on my lower back while I breathed through the contractions. Contractions were not hard to get through until I was put on pitocin to speed up the process. I was taken off of that when Dr. Morice broke my waters. The whole process seemed to fly by afterwards, and my husband and mom talked me through breathing all the rest of my labor. Pushing was the biggest relief and the easiest part at the end. Dr. Morice and the nurses were awesome at talking me through how everything was going, and everything went beautifully. All in all my labor may have been long but it was easy to get through after taking birthing classes and having all the nurses cheer me on for going completely natural.
As soon as I signed in, there wasn't any wait at all. I was quickly weighed and brought to the back. My ultrasound was done and that was a wrap. They are very quick and make sure questions are answered.
