They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They are always very considerate and professional. They gave me sufficient information to make a decision about my treatment plan. I usually to wait a while after I arrived for my appointment but its worth the wait. You can call to see if he is running on time. They go out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and are very sympathetic to my situation.

Let me just say that this business is in one of the safest areas around and you will be pleasantly surprised at how lovely the surroundings are. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. They've definitely given me helpful lifestyle and nutritional tips. They always want what's best for me. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered.

I totally recommend Dr. Chad balker. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and important. I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference.

He's completely amazing. I'm never sure how it works, because he practices an extremely gentile form, but it works 100% of the time for me. I usually only come back in, when I throw my back out about two times per year. I suffered with constant lower back pain and stiffness for over 17 years. Out of several MD's, acupuncture, and two other chiropractic doctors, he's the only person to completely take away my back pain. I love him, but I've waited up to an hour and a half several times over the years, and most times it's a good solid 45-65 minutes before he works on you. I can't understand why he is not more respectful of his patients time. He spends no more than 5-8 minutes with you once he knows you what your chronic ailments are. Why can't he budget his time better? Yes, new patients need time and advice, why not schedule them some other time like late in the day, and stop wasting the rest of our time. I would agree with the other reviewer, the treatment rooms are shabby and non professional. And the treatment room chairs and lighting are horrid. But if you don't mind the wait, and the surroundings, he's a doll and can do amazing things to relieve pain. I've always enjoyed his sense of humor and he is a bright, warm genuinely good guy who is passionate about what he does. Even with the time issues I would give him an A+.

Ignore the previous post. I don't know what he's talking about.
The wait is worth it. I had to wait about 30 minutes before my first appointment... but it was worth it. He's really that good.

He actually had me come back later in the day because I was in a great deal of pain. He didn't have an opening, but told me to come anyway. His last patient comes in at 6 p.m. and he often doesn't leave there until 7 or 8 p.m.

His methods are different than I've experienced in 15 years of seeing chiropractors, but he's really good.

I've been in 4 of his exam rooms and they aren't huge, but there are no chairs "jammed" anywhere. They are in a corner... and if you want to read a book, more the chair... it's not that hard.

The only thing I'd caution anyone about is getting there the first time. Going south on York Road, the numbers are decreasing... about one block before his office the numbers flip and start at 8000.

You need to be prepared to wait an hour after your scheduled appointment time to see this practitioner and the seats are immensely uncomfortable. There are no foot stools and and in the exam rooms the chairs are jammed into the corner so that you can't even hold a book.
