I was referred to Arbi by a former manager and it was the best choice i ever made for myself in regards to my back....he diagnosed the problem and was thorough. what took other chiro's years to figure out, arbi figured out in a couple minutes...though the treatment seemed to be almost permanent, it was not...but since i now have trust in what he does i am going back to have him realign my hip so that i can continue on with life...Arbi is very good at what he does and he is not for everyone...he can be a little rough but his intentions are always good....he left me bruised BUT i bruise easily....he knows what he is doing and he will try to fix you up to the best of his ability....i strongly recommend anyone suffering with back issues to seek him out because he is one of the best chiro's around...

I went to Arbi Derian back in May 2008 for an adjustment on my back. I had some ringing in my ears from using power tools for a long period of time in the same day. I thought that maybe adjusting my back and neck might relieve the ringing in case it hadn't really come from the power tools. My 2nd appointment was on May 28th 2008. Arbi asked me if he could adjust my jaw muscles a little bit. That that might relieve the ringing. I told him I had jaw surgery in 1980 from having it broken pretty bad from being jumped by a small gang. I had 4 surgeries on it and it was wired shut for 3 months. My jaw healed up very well. I had no problems with it for 28 years. He said it wouldn't be a problem. (he told me later he had never performed this procedure on someone who had a broken jaw before) I really didn't know that what he was about to do was so extreme. (and found out later that he did the procedure wrong) He went into my mouth and pushed on my pterygoid muscles (or somewhere around there) with his finger without turning my head properly to access them and pushed sooo hard, I was flopping around on the table. He did no xrays to see the condition of my jaw. I have suffered with a jaw that moves into different positions from muscle spasms and muscles shutting down. My lower jaw teeth hit my upper front teeth as my jaw muscles pull or push my jaw forward and out of alignment as a result of the spasms. I now have some fractured teeth and broke 2 fillings as a result. He told me later that he tried to perform this procedure because he thought my jaw should open differently from the way it did.
I had no TMJ, no grinding problems, no bite issues and no pain in my jaw before this man altered my whole life. He acts as though he can do anything. I think his heart is in the right place. But his hands were not. I suffer from physical pain and mental anguish every day and night as my jaw moves around and effects my joints, etc. Chronic headaches and pain in my teeth gums and joints.
I went to an expert on facial and cranial adjustments who worked with me for 10 visits trying fix what Arbi had done This doctor actually works with even infants here in the states and in certain other countries. He even wrote a letter to Arbi stating his lack of knowledge on performing this procedure and that he shouldn't have dealt with such a delicate case. Arbi called me after receiving the letter from the new doctor. This was 4 months after that damaging adjustment and said he was very sorry and that he would give me back my money for treatments. He never came through and never called again or received my calls. I also went to UCLA Oral Facial Pain Clinic 7 times trying to fix my problem. I drained my funds. Treatments didn't work.
2 ½ years later and I am still suffering this ARBI DERIAN treatment.
I have suffered so bad that I thought about ending it and I have to feel this pain everyday. I am not even suicidal nor was I depressed. I have a beautiful daughter whom I love so much. I have a great family and I love what I do. I'm very lucky. I am passionate about life but now my relationships are burdened. I can hardly live with this anymore. And I don't know how I will be able to continue living with this every day. Its very difficult. My quality of living is gone.
This guy performs adjustments on people and has no idea where your physical boundaries are.
No xrays or real history. I hope people come across this letter before they make the ARBI mistake.
