Dr. Alexandra Schmidt is by far the best gynecologist ever. I've lived in 3 states, including Florida, and no one has been as caring, knowledgeable, and trustworthy as her. I used to live in Boca and now that I moved to Boynton, I take pleasure driving to her office as I know I am in good hands.
Also, nurse Svetlana is the best! They make an amazing duo :)

I first started seeing Dr. Schmidt after my former doctor left the practice and I am so glad that I did. Dr. Schmidt has a great way of handling patients and is very kind, thorough and friendly. She has been very proactive and thorough. I leave the office knowing that she gave me the best care. I highly recommend Dr, Schmidt and the office is great and very well run.

She has the best bed side manner of any doctor I have ever seen. Her warm and caring attitude makes her an excellent doctor and my favorite I have ever been to. There is no doubt I want her to help me through my pregnancy and birth when the time comes. The rest of her team is also great! So happy to have found such a wonderful Doctor!

Dr. Schmidt doesn't just treat you like her patient, but really treats you like her friend. She is kind and caring and always makes me feel at ease. I highly recommend her and her team!

I love going to see Dr. Alexandra Schmidt & her team. They make you feel like family and at ease. I have been seeing her since 2011. I refer my friends to her she is the best in town.
I wouldn't have it any other way!!

Dr Schmidt is awesome! She's always on time which is really important to me. There's nothing worse than waiting around a doctor's office all day. She answers any questions you have and makes you feel very comfortable. She delivered my first baby and it was a very smooth delivery. She kept me calm and coached me through the process. I would recommend her to anyone!

I was first referred to Dr. Schmidt and her office after my original OBGYN no longer was practicing obstetrics, in the middle of my pregnancy at 30 weeks. I can honestly say that I was very hesitant at first. Over the course of the last 2 months of my pregnancy, Dr. Schmidt took the time to personally and professionally care for my well-being, as well as my son's life. My pregnancy went as normal as could be with the typical ups and downs. Dr. Schmidt always listened to my wishes and concerns, even calming down pregnancy hormones associated with "GET THIS CHILD OUT". During my hospital stay and delivery, Dr. Schmidt regularly checked on me and come delivery time, was there for every second. Due to unexpected complications with my placenta post-birth delivery, I became the "rare high-risk" case. Dr. Schmidt acted quickly, and with the help of colleagues, literally saved my life. Had she not acted in a timely manner and made sure the team of other medical professionals attended to me quickly, I would have bled out, probably died, or at the very least not be in the same healthy condition I am now.
Post-crisis, Dr. Schmidt still treated and cared for me with the same attention as during pregnancy. Having gone to many GYN's, I can attest she is among the rare group of gentle and caring doctors.
While sometimes things happen beyond a doctor's control, especially with scheduling and office paperwork, I cannot imagine anyone having a negative experience with Dr. Schmidt.
She will genuinely care for you and look out for your well-being as a woman, not just for pregnancy or "genital" conditions.
Relocating out of South Florida was very difficult in part because I knew this meant losing Dr. Schmidt and her expertise. One of the greatest things I loved and missed was that she ALWAYS returned a message or phone call, no matter how silly the problem might have been.
Looking back, I can't imagine being hesitant to have her as my OBGYN because I wouldn't want anyone else!! I owe my life to her and because of her, my son has his mother.
