Dear Referring Physicians and Patients,

We recently experienced a computer system error affecting 2011 dates of service. This resulted in invoices going out to our patients that contained missing or erroneous information. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and am personally trying to correct this error as soon as possible. We are instructing our patients to ignore any charges related to 2011 dates of service that appear on invoices they were mailed. Their accounts will be noted per my instruction. We have added 4 experienced billing specialists to our team to assist with making the corrections on every account this has affected. Once corrected, one of our billing specialists will call each patient to review their account with them and ensure the updated information is accurate and all errors were corrected. No invoices or statements will be mailed out until this process has been completed. We thank you for all your understanding of this computer system error and appreciate your patience and support.

My wife and daughter just love the Doctor but OMG, don't throw away any of you bills and receipts. Our insurance is constantly billed twice and despite spending hours correcting there office, I still regularly get billed for services from 2011. It's 2013 now. Thank god my wife is organized. For elderly patients this would be a nightmare and I can imagine they would just pay the bill "again" because they may not have kept all their old paperwork. Just crazy!!!!!
