Samina is wonderful. She works really hard to make sure the final solution is what you need and want. She has a lot of patience and will listen to all of your concerns and work with you to address them. I was surprised by the amount of time she spent with me and she let me try a couple of models and made several adjustments for me. She does not put any sales pressure on you to buy anything quickly or that you don't want. I would highly recommend Samina as your hearing specialist. It is hard to think of anyone much better.

I have been a registered nurse for 37 years and have worked with many health care professionals in various settings. I have seen how kind, caring, and professional Samina Khan is, during my visits with her.

Some years ago, I noticed a drastic decrease with my hearing in one of my ears. I soon learned that I needed a hearing aid, and sought professional help in the Boston area. The hearing aid that was fit for me never worked correctly. I wish that I knew of Samina Khan at that time.
On a snowy Saturday morning this past January, I was searching for an audiologist in the metrowest area, as my hearing aid was not working. I knew that it would be a difficult day without it. I called a few audiologists in the area and it became apparent that they were not working on that day. However, I quickly received a call back from Samina Khan and sensed how empathetic she was to my situation. She gave me a few tips on what the problem could be, and even offered to follow-up with me very quickly, as she could hear how upset the loss of the hearing aid was to me. One of her tips worked, and I followed up with her shortly after that for my hearing aid to be evaluated.

I learned that my hearing aid was never programmed correctly, and that I was missing a lot of sounds with it. Samina programmed it correctly, and spent much time educating me about hearing options that I would benefit from. I now have a new hearing aid where I hear things so much better than with my old hearing aid. The quality of my everyday life has greatly improved, as my hearing has improved.

Samina Khan educates her clients with a compassionate and professional manner. With each visit, Samina followed up with a call to me, to make sure that the hearing aid was working correctly.

I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. The staff at this office goes above and beyond to be friendly. They are extremely nice and welcoming. I love that they never cancel their appointments last minute here. I can always count on them to be there for me. They had quite a few interesting magazines, which made my time in the waiting room go by much faster. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say. Further, I felt that she took a lot of time to review with me, the testing, its purpose and its results. She also thoroughly explained the options I had for treatment. I wholeheartedly recommend her !

Samina Khan is absolutely one of the best professionals I have ever dealt with. She was professional, courteous, friendly, very open to answering any questions I had fully and in a way that I understood. Every time I have had to go there she was incredibly thorough, I believe she went above and beyond in her care. Very patient with me as I do ask a tremendous amount of questions. I would highly recommend her to anyone I know or come upon who would be in need of her kind of services. Actually I believe she deserves 10 stars.

Ms. Khan is highly professional and extremely compassionate. She made me feel at ease and answered all my questions. She is working directly with my physician to make sure hearing aids will be covered by my insurance and she explained the entire process to me. I would HIGHLY recommend Advanced Hearing Solutions!

If you live in the metrowest area and need a great Audiologist for help with hearing issues or fitting and adjusting hearing aids - Samina Khan is an incredible choice! After 3 yrs of a diagnosed (53 yr old male) high frequency deficit) I finally decided to evaluate and decide whether it was time for hearing aids. The reality is that I was a border-line case and more interested in testing and experimenting with hearing aids rather than committed to getting them. In the end, once I found and began working with Samina (over the past 3 months), she spent a lot of valuable time working through typical problems and issues people like me have especially with respect to dealing with a variety of new and unfamiliar ssues. Her patience, concern, and level of follow-up were and continue to be the very best in care one could ever expect from any medical professional. In addition, she is incredibly dedicated to finding the proper solution for a given individual and making sure the devices are calibrated and adjusted correctly and the patient / client is happy with the fitting and function in the end. I can not express enough how happy I was with Samina and the solutions she helped assist me with. While deciding on whether to get hearing aids for my level of deficit will clearly be a personal issue for anyone considering them ( a decision based on price, vanity, and the relative help they provide) - - I can think of no better person to work through these issues with then Samina Khan - - a true professional and very special medical care giver and Audiologist that all of us in the Metrowest area should be very happy to have within our local communtiy. A great thanks goes out to Ms. Khan for the Advanced Hearing Solutions practice she runs out of her Whittier Hospital offices ahd all the help she is providing the hearing impaired!
