I would trust their advice. I'm confident that my pet's health and safety is their top priority. They have clean offices . They are nice but sometimes overbooked and the staff is probably overworked. But sometimes this is because they don't turn an emergency away. The staff gies out of their way to make both me and my pet feel welcome. It felt like they really cared about both of us.

Have been taking my beloved dogs there for 2 yrs - ever since we moved to area. We are experienced knowledgable dog owners with a sound knowledge of medical issues related to our purebred dogs and have been to many veterinarians over the years. These veterinarians are among the best - they may not have a flashy fancy clinic with all the latest gadgets and technology but they are good solid animal docs, know their field, are not afraid to send you to a specialist when needed, and -- amazingly -- are willing to meet you at the clinic after hours in case of an emergency. They are kind, caring and reasonably priced. Not out to gouge their clients - I have observed clients coming in to make regular payments on their outstanding accounts -- what sort of practice still does that today? Some (like ER clinics) require payment up front - not Saugerties. Dr Rothstein and Dr Jackson especially are terrific -- and their office staff is friendly and respectful despite a small, often very busy waiting room. We are luck to have this practice.
