We came to LIVS for a surgical consultation for our dog and ended up doing the surgery the same day. The doctors and staff were great and were able to answer all of our questions animmediately that there was no reason to even go home to think about it. This is our third visit to this hospital, second surgery and could not be happier with our experiences. Weren’t definitely recommend LIVS to anyone looking for special surgery or in need of urgent care. They are the best.

Caring staff & Dr's...Brought my dog in for TPLO Surgery and they treated her like she was one of their own...Surgery was successful we are 3 weeks post op and she's doing so well! Thank you!

I was referred to Dr. Kim for my cat's eye problems. Dr. Kim was thorough both in her examination and in explaining the problem, treatment, and prognosis. I appreciated her professional and kind, personable manner. Her assistants were also very kind and helpful.
I arrived early and was seen right at my appointment time. Everyone I encountered from the front desk through to checkout was polite, pleasant and helpful. Checkout was speedy. I highly recommend LIVS not only for the excellence of the veterinary care, but also because it is a well run, efficient operation.

My little pug has been treated here by the Opthomologist, a dermatologist, and also a couple of emergency visits. I have complete confidence in the professionalism, expertise, and competence of the doctors here.

The entire staff was friendly and very professional. I was very comfortable leaving my dog their for retinal testing. And feel very confident knowing Dr sapienza will be performing cataract surgery on my dog I know Zoe will be in good hands

I love this place!! They treat my pet like a true family member. I can’t think of anything bad! We have had both emergency and specialist visits and they were all wonderful. Last summercarolann we also had to put our older dog tohey were very patient and understanding. As one constructive criticism, I wish they had a more intimate place for us to say our last goodbye to our beloved boy Buster. Maybe a room with a couch and some dimmer lighting. Regardless, this will be our forever place! I wish they had regular vetinary services! I would go there for everything. All I can say is Thank You ❤️

I drove from Buffalo NY to have my dog evaluated and obtain recommendations because they are on the cutting edge and pro-active with conducting research. They offer state of the art equipment for performing studies necessary to make an accurate diagnosis. They understand the importance of educating their pet owners which begins in the waiting room with large screen televisions and handouts are full of information. They take time to answer questions and put pet owners at ease. They also offer a rehab facility superior to many rehabs designed for people along with alternative treatments. This is my second experience with Long Island Vet Specialist and although my poor dog has a very serious condition I feel better knowing she has the best team taking care of her. I wish there were more vet clinics with this level of expertise complimented by superior diagnostic equipment and competent staff located closer to my home. For me they are well worth the 8-9 hour one way drive to feel my pup is getting the best of everything. Fortunately I have pet insurance to provide my pup with all that she needs to live with her disorder as comfortably as possible. Thank you Long Island Vet Specialists!!!!

LIVS was so m to our & our dogs needs. Very friendly, caring, calming atmosphere for our dog. I would definitely recommend bringing your pet there if you need.
