Dr. Jerry Mungadze is a life saver. Someone I love very much would not be alive today if it were not for his help. His methods are cutting edge, therefore he becomes a target of criticism. I believe he is a great mind before his time. If you get the chance to talk to this doctor, take it! He will change your life.

Dr. Mungadze does not usually advertise that his treatment regiment may include Christian Theophositic counseling in which - if the patient has a dissociative disorder - he and his staff will pray for the patient and tell the patient that his/her traumatized altered states are "demonic introjects" that need to be cast out through prayer and the blood of Jesus. I believe his Theophostic practices are highly unethical, and I know that he caused serious damage in my life. At the end of my two years of consulting with him, he told me that he had prayerfully ousted "Lucifer" from my body, gave me a new host personality name, and told me that if I went back to remembering the traumatic parts of my past, I would be opening the door for old and new demons to come into my body and take back over. It took me years of intensive help from other, more ethical mental health practitioners to reverse his psychological damage and to find and integrate with parts of me that he had mentally retraumatized. Since then, I became a licensed and certified mental health professional and trauma specialist, and know that that there are much healthier, ethical ways to help dissociated survivors of extreme abuse to heal and recover. Although some people choose to consult with Dr. Mungadze, that is their right. But please do your best not to allow him to treat any part of your humanity as less than precious, human, and worthy of love and acceptance.
