Dr. Landrio is probably the nicest, most patient doctor I've met! She really took the time to listen to me and answer all my questions with a thoughtful answer. It wasn't brushed off like how your questions can be at other offices. The wait time was very short. There was no pressure to buy glasses at the office but it was offered. She even asked "permission" to send me a yearly reminder for a checkup. I'd gladly come here again.

The office was so difficult for me to find as a newbie in town. It's in the plaza of CVS/Outback Steakhouse (it's not the parking lot of the restaurant but behind it). If you're going south on Merrick Avenue, you have to turn left into a back parking lot. I was also told using 2126 Johnston Place or 2126 Merrick Mall may better guide you on your GPS. Using 2126 Merrick Ave only put me on the corner.

These days it isn't easy to find the whole 'package' in healthcare. Sometimes the staff is nice but the doctor is not so nice or visa versa. This office/doctor is different. The staff is very caring and helpful and the doctor takes a real interest in the patients' overall well-being. Dr. Landrio talked to me about many different aspects of vision and eye health such that I was much better informed after the visit. It has been a long time since I felt this satisfied after a doctor's appointment. I would strongly recommend this Merrick-based practice.
