My problem was with the ER. My daughter came in after being beaten up. They took xrays and said they were all negative. They gave her IV antibiotics because her white count was up due to her trauma? Staff in ER were very unprofessionally dressed, they had on blue jeans! Person that did xray was son of man that lived at residence where she was beaten at. Very skeptical if xrays were done properly.
The Business Office was rediculous, she has Medicaid from another state. Stated would not pay for visit. They had her sign an agreement to pay bill, she is mentally disabeled and is not employeed! They told her that she would go to jail if she did not pay the bilI. I informed them I was not responsible for the bill. They should have waited until I arrived and I would have brought her to my local hospital where she could be treated.
I brought her to our local hospital the next day, believing the information the ER physician gave us the night before. She was diagnosed with 2 rib fractures on the right at 11 and 12. She also had a kidney contusion.

If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else. I do not agree with the way they do business here, it is always their way or the highway. They are so uncooperative if a customer complains and are never willing to admit if they are wrong. They seemed to know what they were talking about most of the time, but I still wasn't very comfortable. A couple of times they've stayed open a few minutes past their closing time to help me, but most of the time they'll close at their scheduled time whether someone needs help or not. Their staff was somewhat friendly, but they didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome.
