When I arrived for my appointment the Doctor was soon ready for me. I've been to other places where I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment, but not here. I was very impressed. Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were close to the building in the Reston Town Center. I noticed her credentials displayed on the wall as soon as I walked in. It immediately made me more comfortable and confident that I was seeing someone who was very qualified. She is Board Certified with 29 years of experience. I love that the Doctor is always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. Dr. Spellman gave me ample handouts about the medicine she prescribed for me, she made sure that I understood all the elements related to my health.

I was in awe at the level of service I received. She completely surpassed all my expectations and I will absolutely be going back. I've already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I had there. I've already started recommending them to people I know. She did such a great job. During my consultation, Dr. Spellman was very helpful and attentive the entire time. I felt very cared for. She was also very careful about making sure that I was prescribed the correct medicine because I have other conditions and she was careful about possible drug-interactions. GREAT Psychiatrist!

Dr. Spellman is caring, provides a full 50-minute session, focuses on me and my problems and needs, and really knows her medications and how they might interact. She is spiritual, very kind, considerate and helpful.
