I would never recommend animal to Dr. David Moyer. Dealing with him was a horrible experience. He showed no compassion, no knowledge, or loyalty to my dog or to me. When I took my dog to be put down, Dr. David Moyer did not notify me of anything that was happening. He gave bad excuses of why my dog was acting the way he was and myself, not having any veterinarian experience, knew that what was happening to my dog was not normal. Dr. David Moyer did not communicate with me or the dog. He did not ask why my dog needed to be put down or why he was sick. NO COMPASSION WHAT SO EVER. The nurse told me not to talk during this procedure. She said that talking makes the dog more scared. I was talking to myself, and telling myself it was going to be okay. My dog is deaf, he couldn't hear me anyway. If there was SOME SORT of communication, the nurse and the doctor would have known why I was talking. Also, Dr. Moyer never told me to take as long as I need to say my goodbyes. NO COMPASSION. He was VERY cold to me and my dog. When my previous dog was put down, by a different veterinarian who had since retired, it was very calm. That was not how it was with Dr. David Moyer. The receptionist and the nurse told me my dog was to receive one shot. My dog received three. I never wanted my dog to feel any pain. And myself, not having any veterinarian experience, knew my dog was in pain. Dr. David Moyer told me dogs go crazy. NO! My dog was not crazy. He was scared. Strangers were holding him down. He didn't understand what was happening. It seemed like this procedure was prolonged. My daughter went through this gruesome process. I had to ask her to leave so she would not see it. Overall, my experience with Dr. David Moyer was horrible. I WOULD NEVER recommend any animal to Dr. David Moyer.
