Dr. Flaherty is easily the best. I've been to numerous other vets from Elmhurst Animal Care Clinic to the Chicago Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center. While the others were satisfactory, St. Francis is just different. There's a personal approach at St. Francis, where your pet becomes part of their family. My dog is going through hell and, realistically, probably won't make it, unfortunately, but with Dr. Flaherty by his side, he's in as good a place as he can possibly be. Dr. Flaherty's calm demeanor and strong affinity for common sense and understanding, pervades over the whole office, both over the people and the other animals :-). Thank you, Dr. Flaherty!

If you want personal, expert, loving care for your dog, you can not do better than Dr. Flaherty. He is calm, low key and has a natural affinity for dogs and how they think. He combines traditional Western medicine along with alternative/wholistic methods and is passionate about his profession. Prices are very reasonable with personalized attention.

The office is a bungalow in downtown Glen Ellyn with wood floors and rugs and seems more like a house than a clinic - a nice, quiet atmosphere. This is a smaller practice so the hours are limited and you will need to plan ahead.

I have previously taken my dogs to Arboretum View Animal Hospital, Glen Ellyn Animal Hospital and a few others and have received poor, unskilled, unprofessional treatment and have been overcharged. If you want the best for your pet, you can not go wrong bringing them here.

They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question. They were absolutely amazing and make others in the same field look like beginners. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to.
