I was fortunate to see Dr Chung. I was referred from a local Pain Management clinic for my back pain. I've had several years of chronic pain that really hindered my life. After several treatments, my back pain improved dramatically to where I could enjoy taking walks and playing with my grandkids. Her custom made anti-inflammatory herbal tea was miraculous. I especially felt better after her "cupping" treatments. I feel blessed I was able to meet such a doctor who could change my life so dramatically after having such difficulties for so many years.
I went in for treatment on my shoulder pain. At first she was very nice but later on she ignored some of the questions that I had for her. She share a facility with other and don't work all the time making it hard to schedule an appointment with her. She preferred to not accept insurance and rather you paid cash. The treatment only work on that day of the acupuncture but come back the next day. After numerous treatments and really expensive herbal teas ($200 for 28 days, not even a month worth of medication) that she insisted that you buy, I decided to stop seeing her. From my research, I found that even some of the most expensive Chinese' herb are around $30ish a month and these are used by King and Queen in China. I went to another acupuncturist and only after 3 treatments my shoulder felt better. So my conclusion is that she is too expensive and her skill in acupuncture is mediocre.
