I DO NOT recommend going to California nails. At the beginning of my manicure the manicurist had to be reminded by a coworker to wash his hands and at the end of my manicure he got up and walked to hid next client without so much as a thank you. Then as I took a closer look at my nails, I found them to be sloppy. The tips of my nails were rough and uneven and there was excess nail polish covering the skin around my fingers. When I asked the manicurist to fix the issues I was told in was wrong about my nails being uneven and that the extra nail polish would come off my skin with a few hand washes. I don't know about you, but I chose to spend my money getting my nails done so they not only look better than I can do myself and to also have an hour to relax. I left california nails feeling anything but relaxed and had to go home and file my nails smooth and even myself.
