My name is Reverend Roy K. Before my recovery experience at Woodmere Rehabilitation & Health Care Center I was scared. I was always taught to take care of myself. This was a big transition. It took a lot for me to get use to someone changing me, supervising my food, and watching me and the things that I did. I resented it for some time, but then I decided to join the program at Woodmere Rehabilitation & Health Care Center to start the healing process myself. Certain individuals at the Facility have been such wonderful help. Deleta , my CNA, who is helpful and encouraging and took care of my health care needs. Fitzroy who motivated me as well as pushed me when I didn't want to go forward with an important step of my healing. Kaycia, another therapist in her kind and loving way was a sense of strength for me. Henry, a Respiratory Therapist, pushing me forward and weaning me off the ventilator to my recovery. Loyd, RN a wonderful person in terms of dealing with my medical issues. Sandra & Tessa, Recreation Staff, that provided me with wonderful recreational activities and treated me with such dignity. With the help of Woodmere Rehabilitation Staff, I am grateful for the motivation & effort they put in my process to recovery. Approximately 3 months of residing at the Rehabilitation Center, I have healed in a lot of ways and succeeded my transition to better health. I feel positive and strengthened, now I am going home a new a man focused on my mission.

My dad has been there for 2 months now. First I would like to say that this place is absolutely filthy. The front desk check in staff and a couple of the CNAs are very nice. The head nurse and head doc are extremely unattentitive and clueless. My dad waited over a week for the doc to come in and see him. His trach has fallen out numerous times along with his roomate, hall lights going off alarm sounding and I still had to physically get someone for help, 2x he had to be bagged!!!!! All they seem to want to do is medicate you with medicines that are not needed. No other place will accept my dad since his conditioned has improved slightly. I have wriiten letters to the appropriate heads to have an investigation performed. Grown men sitting in feces for over 2 hours, bugs flying all over dialysis room, unsanitary conditions, this place is a horror show and should be shut down. I will continue my quest to those who will hear me. The doctors should be removed along with the head nurse and numerous other staff members!!!!! Maybe if this staffs OWN FAMILY members were there they would see for themselves!!!!!!!!

Absolutely Not! He/She always looks like a slob.

This the worst Nursing home I have ever seen! From Adminstration and down to staff it is so pathetic, unorganized, and dysfunctional in every area of care! The Dr;s are just as lousy! The nursing care is so poor it's unbelievable! They seem to hire anyone with 2 hands and 2 feet! Even the state did not give them a descent rating! I wonder who they pay off to stay in business. The whole place needs a make over, but it goes well with the nursing staff and CNA's.! Oh yes you better check and double check when you do get information for the nurse's, because your will get more than one answer, each nurse will give you and different answer!
Don't waste time making any complaints, because they will promise you the world and YES you the death and nothing will change! They are definitely not up to date as most of all nursing homes are! The nurses don't read the Dr.s order's most of the time, so if any thing is changed they don't know! The CNA's half wash the patient's and put a ton of grease on them! The thing of all they get away with this of care!!!! All of the staff needs to go to a refresher course to relearn what real nurses are suppose to do and how it to do real patient care. WARNING...if you have a loved one their get them out to any other facility quick, better yet DO NOT allow them to be admitted there, it is HORRIBLE! If you don't believe it , check it out for yourself! They are all a bunch of LIAR"s to your face.
