They were ready to see my grandmother when I showed up for our appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. They were by far one of the best long term care facilities that I've ever seen. It was obvious that the physicians and resident have been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. They are so kind and caring, and they stay open way past their closing time to help anyone who needs them. They wouldn't deny anyone that needed help. I know I can always count on them.

Does this provider ever overbook appointments here?
Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.

This facility does not appear to be adapt at working with Alzheimer's disease. They are very poor at keeping the family involved with changes and to the patient's mental and physical state. I am very disappointed in this facility

My mother was recently a patient at Imperial. She was a patient at Illinois Masonic and transferred there for a 2 week stay. The building is nice but that is as far as it goes. Call lights are left unanswered for as long as an hour. The common excuse is they are understaffed. This was even admitted by my mother's physician when we commented on the poor response time. Mother's roomate was an elderly woman with alzheimers. The treatment she recieved was pitiful. Food trays were out in front of her at evey meal and were picked up with no attempts at feeding her. Several people on the floor advised us to lock up everything as many things were stolen from the patients. The front desk receptionist was rude / beligerent to my eigty four year old father and complaints to the nursing home administrator where a waste of time. Sad to say, if you are a member of Humana Medicare, this is what you or a loved one will be experiencing if transferred to this facility.

My experience there with my mother was worse than disappointing. Right away they lost moms' hearing aids. They probably were thrown out with the breakfast tray, but the Imperial claimed no knowledge and would not replace them. Then she developed a urinary tract infection and had to go to the hospital. It seemed as if they didn't know she was there sometimes.
After she came back, my wife visited and found her on the floor. Then they forced her out to a different nursing home without any notice at all, citing our unhappiness with her care.
They had a good physical therapist there and the building is nice.

I made the horrible mistake of taking my mother here. She has been stolen from and provided with horrible care. Rick the administrator has no care skills, I have called him about this situiation and he has ignored it. Please consider another facility before bringing your loved ones here. Checkout their complaints and information about them on the State of Illinois Website. They have a horrible reputation. I didn't do the proper research before and my mother is paying for it now.
