On behalf of the Dassinger/Cusick families we would like to thank you for taking such great care of our dad Martin Dassinger. Judah when we first approached you regarding admitting our dad into Regency you knew we were apprehensive. We were not sure if putting our dad in a nursing home was the right decision or not; after all who would take better care of our dad than us. Well you proved us wrong, within days of dad being admitted everyone on staff knew dad by name and would greet him with a smile. He was never alone. Dad was admitted at first to the 4th floor and all the staff there was amazing they were always smiling and patient with dad Emerson on the 4th floor was especially friendly to dad.
After some time dad continued to deteriorate and needed to be moved to the third floor where he was now confined to his wheel chair. While on the third floor dad became a little harder to handle and would get cranky, but dad was always treated with the same smiles and respect. I don't know the names of every one that helped take of dad but a few are Theresa, Debbie Donna, and Nelson. I am sorry for anyone whose name I missed but that doesn't mean we thank you any less. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for taking care of dad. Martin was a good man, a loving and devoted husband and father. He would work 6 days a week when we were little so mom could stay at home with us. He was coach of little league baseball for our brothers team, and a veteran of the Korean conflict.
We had heard horror stories from friends about other nursing homes. Sending dad to Regency was definitely the best decision we could have made. It was like living at a fancy hotel complete with entertainment weekly. I have witnessed first hand some of the special events that went on at Regency like the picnics which I was always invited to partake in, the outside entertainers who were brought in to sing to the residents, the on site barber. For every thing you all did for dad we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, God bless you all
Excellent. Refreshing. Very straight forward discussion about all issues. No hidden agenda. Owner has an open door policy for any questions. Great nursing and rehab staff!
My Dad, was admitted to Regency Nursing Center this past August as a full time resident. At first he was apprehensive about this huge transition in his life. But after a short period of time, as h got to know the staff and the residents, he became at ease with his new environment and saw that this was the place he wanted to live.
Whenever I ask my Dad if he is happy here, he quickly says yes. I cannot ask for a better place for him to be, than at Regency Park. Their inclusion of family members at all occasions is deeply appreciated and makes us feel welcome whenever we visit.
All the employees are wonderful and we commend them all for their caring, patience and understanding.
Regency has met our expectations far and beyond the stigma usually associated with nursing homes.
We are happy and grateful (and we now sleep at night again, knowing my Dad is in good hands).
My Wife, Linda was recently discharged from Regency Park in Hazlet after her 2nd successful rehab stay. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and therapists.
My Mom has been a rehab patient at several facilities in Holmdel, Matawan and Keyport. She is now a resident at Regency Park and we couldn’t be happier with her care.
My family will always be grateful to Regency Park, not only for the care, but also for the beautiful gift basket they gave our Mother when she was recently discharged. The extra touch was deeply appreciated.
The entire staff was caring, thoughtful, friendly and responsive, both to my Mother and to me. I was very pleased with the care and attention my Mother was given by everyone. I’ve always left feeling she’s in good hands.
My Aunt, Eleanora Bell has been a resident for over a year and in July celebrated her 100th birthday. Special thanks to all those who helped make her party a success, including Jericho, Al Morris, Chaim, Adelita, Sonny and Donna. Her 30 family members had a wonderful time!
