This nursing home is currently home to three cats. Upon visiting a relative on 12/18/2011, I was surprised to see a black cat sitting on a chair in the lobby, another sleeping under a christmas tree, an open litter box, cat toys on the floor, and a food bowl under an end table. I was shocked to see the addition of cats in this usually clean facility. Considering the allergies and other respiratory problems associated with pet hair and dander, I believe that cats have no place in nursing homes. I hope this will be resolved soon.
