I didn't do my homework before I placed my loved one in this facility. I visited them, but I should have done much more. I wish this rating went below "poor"... it's a house of horrors. On the surface it's peachy. So not true!
The residents walk around with poopie pants, my dad had facial bruises, "from a fall", and he was so heavily sedated he couldn't even open his eyes! He lost a lot of weight while he was with them, probably because he was kept asleep all the time. It was easier to knock him out, then to actually deal with him. The residents seem so unhappy. They take the most extreme cases of Alzheimer's, because those are the residents that can't speak for themselves and medicare/medicaid pays the most for the level of care they require.
However, I am quite happy with the resident doctor, Dr. Paul Fishman.
PLEASE AVOID THIS FACILITY AT ALL COST!!! I took my dad out before they killed him!
