The director of this nursing home Brian Center is a lier, takes advantage of the residents and should be fired. Residents get ignored, lied to and have to beg for their medications.

I would not send my dog there !!!!

Horrible with a capital "H". I live outside the USA and had to rely on on-line info to make a decision for my Mother. This facility was one of several places I was given as a choice to place my Mother for short term rehab after a short stay in the hospital being treated for a fall and broken arm. I researched the facility at Medicare.com and with other on-line sites I could find, and all of the reviews were reported to be excellent.
My Mother was transferred late morning and my Wife went there at approximately 14:00 to check on Mother and attend any needs. She immediately reported to me the place was terrible. Her exact words were; "This place is so nasty we would not put Jack (our dog) here. The odor would gag a maggot. I can not stand to be in the building but what should I do about your Mother being here?" The conversation went forward and I immediately put into motion the steps to have her relocated to another facility.
From what My Wife reported, this facility should be closed. I am reporting this to the Rowan County Health Department and to the state agencies responsible for licensing such facilities.
