I went to Ambassador Good Samaritan Nursing Home with a good friend of mine for her post-op care. We went there because of the good reviews and recommendations. After two weeks of care I, as well as she, were deeply disappointed not with the nursing staff but with the Physical Therapy staff. There were other disappointments but those were minor and to be expected on a health care facility. My top stories that I want to share for your own evaluation are these: On the first day, a female PT staff came to her room began an evaluation and left for something to never return that day or the next day! On another occasion a male PT began to rant and trash president Obama during her rehab session without any concern for points of views or possible offense to her or other patients present at the moment. To cap the story, on her PT home evaluation another male PT staff told her that he saw the devil on one of her daughter pictures! When I ask which one? Surprise! Surprise! It was the one where her daughter was posing with Bill Clinton. An extra little note of disapproval was place on our Good Samaritan's record when a PT began to talk nonsense about Germany and German people when one of her visitors was indeed a judge from Germany. I wonder if I have been living on a different place were we don't go trashing other people for the sake of showing off self-superiority and pseudo-knowledge, but Ambassador Good Samaritan need to enforce GOOD SAMARITAN attitudes on their employees.
