I never had the chance to see Dr Lotenfoe as the number of rules his office has about insurance acceptance are too many. I have three excellent insurances, but his office will only file two maximum and I would have been left with copays to file myself, which as a disabled person I am not able to do. I was not made aware of this fact until I was standing in the office waiting to be seen - despite the fact they knew of my third insurance well in advance. There are other Urologists in town; I will choose one of them instead.

I contacted Dr. Lotenfoe's office from Africa as my husband was to be medevac'd and set up an appointment for procedures that were required for him. Since we traveled from Africa and had limited time in the States, they accommodated us as best as they could and worked with us on the timing. Tabitha in his office responded quickly and was very professional and friendly. Received excellent assistance from the Staff. My husband and I found Dr. Lotenfoe to be very professional, very thorough and willing to answer all questions that we had. My husband previously had two biopsies and this was the most thorough that he's had. When I mentioned there was a history of cancer in my husband's family, he suggested procedures to ensure that this was not an issue for my spouse. Due to my husband's symptoms he recommended several other procedures to check everything out. We were quite pleased with the services rendered. In response to comments made by reviewers about the staff being rude -- the female staff cannot be "overly friendly" due to the area of the body that they come in contact with on a daily basis as their intent might be misunderstood by the patient. The staff was much friendlier on the other visits than on the initial one and we found them to be very professional and caring.

We also saw that people came into the office late, unprepared, requesting services and become upset when co-payments were requested upfront. These were the same people who had not paid for previous services rendered -- I would want my money upfront as well!!!
