I had been going to Dr. Wohlfeil for years, but I decided it was time to see a new doctor that was closer to me. My new doctor answered so many questions for me that Dr. Wohlfeil either never answered or gave me misleading information on, and the new doctor was a lot more personable and didn't judge as much as I felt Dr. Wohlfeil did. The other thing that I was not a fan of was that Dr. Wohlfeil seems to push certain products and programs just because they sell them there, not because they're the best for you. The only thing that I do like is that the nursing staff is pretty nice and they usually give out free samples of stuff. The receptionists are pretty rude most of the time, texting or talking on their phone when I'm trying to ask questions or check in. Scheduling was also really difficult because she was only there a couple days a week and only during certain hours, and I had to move a bunch of other things around just to see her, or wait weeks on end. I also felt like she would call me in for office visits that weren't necessary (stuff she could have just sent a letter or called about instead of charging me for another visit). Trying to get my records transferred to my new doctor was a hassle and a half, too. I tried 3 times before the new office had to send them another copy and they finally got it.

I previously left a satisfactory review for Dr Wohlfeil. However I need to add a second review regarding follow up as it pertains to staff. I can't rely on them to do their job: call in medications, send lab reports to another physician, call me regarding lab results, etc. This happens every time. Even the pharmacist said he has problems with the staff calling in prescriptions, said they are very unorganized. Today I had an appt with another doctor who was suppose to receive the lab results from Dr Wohlfeil's office. The doctor didn't receive them. I called Wohlfeil's office, the receptionist said, "no it doesn't look like we sent them". Seriously...have some customer service please!!! I shouldn't have to do their work for them. They are paid staff.

I've been going to Dr Wohlfeil for 15 years. Not only is she my OB-GYN, but also my primary physician. Whenever I have a procedure done outside her office (mammogram, thermography) everything goes through her, and she's been a trusted partner in my health care. Her staff is excellent also.
