Their state-of-the-art facility offers some of the latest equipment in orthopedic surgery I have ever seen. It was such a relief to know they had such an outstanding and impressive facility. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here. I am never put on hold for a long time and love knowing that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered. I was able to relax during my appointment here. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and at ease. This provider has so much helpful information available online. They have an impressive website that's easy to use, with forms that you can fill out before your appointment. They also have a great online presence in multiple directories.

After waiting for two months for this appointment, I drove for an hour with a toddler to get to it on time. I arrive half an hour early only to be told he is in surgery and the wait could be "a while" and that "he's usually never on time." Great. After an hour and a half in the waiting area with my toddler, I am brought back for x rays by a very kind xray tech and taken to a room by another bery kind nurse. I had high hopes for this appointment because I have had recurring stress fractures in my hips and femurs for over four years and had been reduced to barely even walking due to the constant pain. I used to be an active duty soldier and now I struggle to go to the store. Blood work by my other doctor had revealed a possible significant problem in my bones and there was a note in my chart for him to check on it. I was very hopeful to finally get some answers and some help. When dr Bargren walked in, he didn't even open my chart. He asked me what I thought was going on and I explained to him that I can't stop stress fracturing my hips and femurs. He laughed at me and asked me what a stress fracture is and that he had 'written the book' on stress fractures at Madigan Army Medical Center. He then put my x-rays up said 'see? there's nothing there' had me walk to and from him and then proceeded to tell me that I was blowing this whole thing out of proportion. Nevermind that I have a radiography record over an inch thick. He got up told me to start excersising and walked out. The entire time in room was at most 6 minutes. I left absolutely in tears. I used to lift weights and be strong. I used to run and dance and play volleyball, I was a soldier medic, I could do anything. His answer was for me to 'get some excersise' as if I hadn't tried that. I wish I had never gone. He was absolutely horrible. I think he should have stayed at MAMC so that way the crappy care wouldn't have been such a shock. I am now with Dr Teeny at Lakewood Orthopaedics and the difference is night and day. He is actually doing the legwork to helpo get me running again. Don't waste your time with bargren. He's unprofessional, rude and an all around bad doctor.
