Dr. Workman and her entire staff make an appointment as comfortable as possible. I have never waited over 5 minutes and when I have come in with an emerging need, they have worked me in quickly. Dr. Workman communicates her care in the time she takes to answer my questions completely, siting recent studies and her reasoning for her recommended treatment. She is so thorough in her exam that I am rest easy in her care, knowing she will alert me to any concerns and refer me if needed. I recommend Dr. Workman without hesitation.

I have recommended Dr. Workman to many friends. She spends the time to really listen to your concerns and she is extremely thorough. I credit her for saving my life when she found a melanoma that I would not have otherwise thought to be suspicious. I would recommend her to everyone.

Outstanding physician. Very caring, intelligent, responsive doctor.
Dr. Workman listens carefully to your concerns and responds appropriately. She is always on the "cutting edge" of medical information and works to provide solutions to current health care issues you may be experiencing as well as plans ahead based on family history and your history to anticipate what would be the best health care plan for you today and into the future to best assist you in your overall wellness.

It was nice to hear how much the staff respected her. It made mefeel that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. Available parking at the office is adequate. I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions.

Dr. Workman became my healthcare provider after saving my life after a traumatic football injury. For the last 6 years, she has been amazing; I never wait more than 5 minutes in her waiting room, I always feel I have sufficient time with her to discuss my problems, and I always feel comfortable with her healthcare decisions. My experiences with Dr. Workman have influenced my personal life as well, as she is one of the primary reasons that I will go to medical school to become a doctor like she is.

They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and comfortable during each appointment. They are one of the most welcoming offices I've ever visited.

I met Dr. Carol Workman when I moved back to Vancouver in 1998. I had in mind what kind of doctor I was looking for, and I found that exact doctor in Dr. Workman. It was on my first appointment that I realized that the doctor that I sought, was found in the caring and engaged Dr. Workman. She was prompt and most importantly accurate in her appraisal of a condition that I suffered from for years. I visited several other doctors in other cities and I was promptly told that the condition I suffered from (higher than normal cholesterol levels) was something that I would simply have to get used to and live with, which would be fine if my condition wasn't so serious. I am a otherwise healthy person, normal weight, active and caring patient that takes the advice of my physician seriously. I had been told by other physicians that a skin condition that I suffered from was an abnormality and that hope and time would cure it. Dr. Workman assured me that the condition had nothing to with the skin but had to do with higher than normal cholesterol levels. To confirm this, she promptly provided me a reference to a dermatologist who also confirmed that the condition was not at all related to the skin, but was higher than normal cholesterol levels. Score one for the Workman was my immediate thought. Since then, Dr. Workman methodically assessed my condition taking careful and thoughtful approaches to mediation, and has since stabilized an otherwise out-of-control genetic disorder and brought new hope and a sense of future to my life. A truly wonderful doctor that deserves praise and consideration.
