Stay away from this practice. Make sure DO NOT let any doctor here picked your child ear. Dr. Schwartz and Advanced Pediatrics caused my childs right ear canal injury, bleeding. They proceed unsanitary irrigation caused her right ear canal infection. They gave improper prescription made her infection worse. We took my baby to ER and told her ear canal infection caused impetigo. Later, follow up with Dr. Schwartz, he said it's not ear canal infection, it was mid-ear infection. We concerned our baby's ear infection and checked with another pediatrician who confirmed with ER doctors.

I can understand Dr. Schwartz made mistake to broke my baby's ear skin, bleeding even the infections. But I cannot forgive him using a lie to cover his improper medical treatment and refused giving her checkup during her infection.

There are so many fabulous pediatricians in the area, PLEASE do not waste your time and energy going to this office! Every time I have gone there for my childrens' visits, the front desk always has some nonsense awaiting me. If it's not a 1 hour wait until I finally see a doctor (1 HOUR WITH TWO TODDLERS!!!), they've pulled up / are referencing the wrong child's chart, which by the way NO ONE notices until I do! I have had to check the chart to make sure it's for the right child every time I've gone there - pathetic.

The last straw was today's "appointment". I got my two toddler boys out of the house and in the office for their 11:30 visit, as was emailed to me by the Advanced Pediatrics office. When I arrived, I signed in and went straight to Stephanie Heinenberg's desk to pay any outstanding balance. She did not listen to my full sentence and condescendingly told me that I would have to wait in line. Well, there was no line in sight, and I was the only one with an uncrossed name on the sign-in sheet. She then looked at me confusedly and asked if I had an appointment. Seriously. When I told her exactly what time and date the email indicated, she informed me that I had no appointment at all, thinking I would leave. When she realized it wasn't going to work like that after I had to drag two kids to a doctor's office, she only then called the office manager, Lisa Jackson, an equally unprofessional character.

Lisa asked me to forward her the email and then apologized, also thinking I would leave quietly. Long story short, I said that I would have to be seen for the time that I was emailed, and Lisa said I would have to wait for the next slot, 1 1/2 hours away, to see a doctor. Thoroughly angered, I let her know that I would be needing my charts to find another pediatrician, to which she answered, "that would be fine, sorry 'bout that!". I can't BELIEVE my kids were not seen!

My husband is a surgeon who runs his own office as the only doctor on board, and patients always show up saying they have appointments when they aren't scheduled. No matter whose mistake it was, his office manager has NEVER let such an embarrassing mishap do down in his office. She always makes SURE that they are seen at the time that they claim to have their appointments, no matter what. My husband will skip multiple meals, not go to the bathroom for a full day, jump between rooms, whatever it takes to care for his patients.

How ridiculous that this type of superior service can be provided by a lone doctor, but not by a group of 4 doctors (FOUR!!!) and 2 NP's! Apparently, Advanced Pediatrics has enough business and they simply do not care to provide you with quality care and service. Please, please, please save your time and frustration and go elsewhere.

Dr. Schwartz and Advanced Pediatrics caused Katherine’s right ear canal injury, bleeding. They proceed unsanitary irrigation caused her right ear canal infection. They refused to check her in person and gave improper prescription made her infection worse; her ear canal infection caused impetigo. They made wrong diagnosis (or they used a lie to cover their improper medical treatment) and refused giving Katherine checkup during her infection.
