I had to wait a long time in the waiting room. I've had to wait longer at other places, but it was still too long. I really didn't like how difficult it was to find parking at their office. I wasted a bunch of gas just driving around looking for one. They seemed to know what they were talking about most of the time, but I still wasn't very comfortable.

They would not fill out my insurance forms for my short term disability. My insurance company requires that the forms be filled out by the attending physician. Chessen & Associates kept telling me I had to go to my PCP to get the form done. My disability insurance company said not they had to do it. They have kept refusing & I have been unable to get anywhere with them. My disability insurnace company will not accept it filled out by anyone else. i am now stuck with no income because of Chessen & Associates refusal to cooperate with the insurance company. They have even told me not to come back because they have dropped me as a patient. I am looking into filing a formal complaint with the state.

Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. They are the most attentive psychiatrist I've ever met. They always listen carefully to whatever I have to say. I would recommend them to people I know. They were able to help me a lot. I was amazed by how professional and friendly their staff was. They went above and beyond what I ever expected.

I would recommend them to people I know if I couldn't think of anyone better to suggest. They gave about the same level of care as others I have been to for the same problem. Which is to say, nothing that really worked.

I was shocked when they dismissed my concerns as unimportant and told me I was just overreacting. I knew that my situation needed attention, and I couldn't believe that they wouldn't even look into it. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. They didn't show any sort of attention to detail, which I think is very important. I was afraid they were going to miss or forget something important. I did experience some pain that I felt could have been avoided, but it wasn't too bad. Before they recommended a treatment plan for me, they looked into my medical history a little, but I still didn't feel like they had a thorough understanding. I was uncomfortable starting treatment when they didn't know where I was coming from.
