I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. During my appointment, I knew that I always had their full attention. They listened to everything I said without interrupting. They seemed to know what they were talking about most of the time, but I still wasn't very comfortable. They seemed like they were extremely irritated to be at work, and that they couldn't wait for me to leave. They didn't seem to want to help anyone. She was narrow minded and made assumptions and pre-judgements befor obtaining the whole story. She does not seem open to change or realizing every patient is different. You know it is not nice to say to someone you really should just eat junk food and not take care of your child so you can get 8 hrs of sleep. What you eat directly relates to ones psychological functioning and well-being. Our children and their welfare should be priority of every parent and our primary responsibility. This is life in D.C. doctor, working to pay bills, long commutes, cooking, and caring for your kids, etc.

Dr Carmoski was beyond bad. She has a horrible attitude, and treated me very poorly. After my 1 and only experience with her I researched her online.

She is consistently rated by her patients as poor.

She is a decent psychiatrist, not the worst I've ever seen, but she dumped me because I had to go inpatient. So I had to deal with finding and adjusting to new psychiatrist (not easy or fun) on top of that. I have moral issues with that practice, and would not go back even if I was able to. She does have tourettes syndrome, I had no problem getting used to it, but I've heard people complain about it. I didn't find her to be very sympathetic, nor did I feel she spent enough time with me or listened well.

Their office was clean enough, but it was still a little too dirty. I didn't want to get sick so I tried to leave as quickly as possible. I would never recommend them to anyone. They made my situation even worse. Their staff is very friendly and professional.

Not one bit! I felt much better when I left!
