When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. I love the way that they interact with both me and my child every time we visit. They always respect my child's individuality and make an extra effort to always include them. My child absolutely loves Patricia Harkins, MD and her staff. They are so kid-friendly and act like my child's best friend. This doctor and staff have great bedside mannesr.

Extremely comfortable; I could have fallen asleep

Not at all! They always try to get me in as soon as possible

Absolutely. They have plenty of nurse practioners and doctors as back-up support

Dr. Harkins is an amazing doctor with a wonderful staff. She was the first doctor we ever visited that took the time to listen to our concerns, spend considerable time watching and playing with our son, and then plan an appropriate evaluation. Before we even visited the office the first time, a staff member called and spent 2 hours interviewing us about our son's developmental and medical history. While other doctors had a "wait and see" approach, she made referrals to all necessary specialists and helped us determine our child had partial seizures that contributed to his developmental delays. After a full evaluation, she diagnosed him with autism.

However, Dr. Harkins' care went well beyond a diagnosis. She helped us navigate the world of therapists, neurologists, and the educational system. She monitors our son's development closely to ensure he is making appropriate progress. In addition to her medical services, she helps us access and learn about all resources and services in the area. 6 years later, we are still completely satisfied with her medical care. Her comprehensive and detailed approach changed the course of my son's life, and we are truly blessed to have found her.
