Listens to all your concerns about physical limitations and pain. Proceeds with due diligence to secure tests, Xrays and MRIs to diagnose for recommended PT, treatment and/or surgery. Gives clear recommendations as well as prognosis if recommended treatment/surgery is postponed.. Follow up is thorough and comprehensive after all procedures are completed.. Pain management before, during and after procedures is appropriate and adequate to minimize suffering while not being overly aggressive. Language is direct and easily understood - some may consider his choices of words colorful and or crude but I did not.

Dr. Hamilton was easy to talk to and was very up front about what I should expect from having a double fusion on my lower back on my L4-L5. He was clear on what I needed to do to get the most benefit from my procedure and continue to keep my back healthy.

Outstanding neurosurgeon. Relived my neck pain by removing a sinovial cycst from my spine in the neck area. Love how he always wants to try alternatives to surgery before making the final decision to operate

Dr. H treated me for 5 years before surgery. It was a 5-hour surgery with hours of cleanup from a failed surgery by a different doctor. He did not overstate the likelihood of pain reduction, and he was professional honest and straightforward. He answered all of our questions in the pre-op appointment and in the post-op. I began feeling better while in the hospital the day after surgery. I have already recommended Dr. H to a family member because I am so pleased with my surgery. Great staff, prompt appointments and I was always treated with respect and care. No one wants back surgery, but I made the right decision in letting Dr. H repair my herniated discs.

The moment I came out from anesthesia I was aware of my complete relief from pain. I had been suffering for two years. My in network Doctor in Temple refused to treat me and told me he would re-evaluate me in a year. I almost broke down in tears. My entire lifestyle had been altered due to my pain. I finally went to see Dr. Hamilton even though he was not participating in my insurance. He reassured me that he could fix me and return me to my old abilities. He did! ! Luckily we could afford the out of network costs.
