I have been a patient of Dr. Vanbiber's for 20+ years. I followed him several years ago when he moved his practice to a site that was less convenient for me in terms of location because of my respect for and utmost confidence in him as a physician. In the mid-90's he diagnosed a medical condition that various specialists with whom I had met during the previous two years had missed. Dr. Vanbiber has always treated me as though I were a partner when it came to my care and treatment, rather than as a clueless patient. Unlike my experiences with some physicians, Dr. Vanbiber has neither patronized me nor attempted to minimize symptoms or changes in symptoms being discussed during any of my appointments with him. I realize doctors' caseloads have increased and the time allotted for each patient's office visit seems to have decreased, however, I have never felt rushed or unheard by Dr. Vanbiber. Additionally, despite any diagnosis and/or treatment that has been less than pleasant, my experiences with Dr. Vanbiber as my primary care physician have been top notch! I have referred friends and professional colleagues to Dr. Vanbiber and will do so in future. And, of course, I will continue to see Dr. Vanbiber whenever a medical need arises.
