I had concern about my insurance so I called ahead and the insurance clerk was able to answer all my questions and put me at ease about what part I would owe. Then the doctor did a really good job making sure I understood the charges for anything he had recommended doing before he had them done. All in all I felt like I was in control of what tests were being done and how much they were going to cost me. I like being part of the decision making process.

I got sick during the middle of the night once and remembered that Neighborhood Medical Center opens by 8am so I headed over there and they got me in. I saw a doctor and was checking out in less than 30 minutes. It was amazing. I told my roommate and now she goes there for her regular annual check ups, too.

Dr. McElya is a wonderful doctor. His practice is well run, always friendly staff and he truly cares about his patients. I have been a patient of his for over 4 years. I have never been to a doctor who cares as much as he does.

I have visited the office on Meany occasions with a verity of illnesses for myself and children. I have found the staff and doctors to be very kind and helpful. My wait has been short and I have enthusiastically recommended this great place to my friends and family. I now consider Dr. McElya my regular doctor!

Dr. McElya has the “BEST” bedside manner! He is extremely genuine and very professional in his delivery of medicine information and does not keep you waiting. He is the Best Doctor I have ever met Dallas Texas !!!

The Doctor and Staff are very kind to me, everyone, makes me feel good, when I walk in the door, Kim calls me by my name, staff smiles at me on the hallway, I always bake for them around the holidays, they are like family to me

Been a patient since 2003. They are open late, 10pm on weekdays. Love the new office Preston/Beltline. Best advice is find a doctor you mesh with and see that one each time. All in the office are nice but it helps with history and rapport. Dr. McElya himself seems to have a great spirit and has pics of his mission trips to Africa on display, a must see. Make an appointment to reduce time-same day is even avail.

Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel stupid for calling. I avoided calling because I didn't want to feel stupid. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years.
