The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. Their prices were fair if your Doctor was Dr. Hunter as he's the best primary care physician I've ever been to They definitely would be easy to reach in an emergency, but it's no need to call Carolina Health Specialists at such a time. You'll just be told that CHS is not "set up" for emergencies" & to go to the ER. This is the PRACTICE making the rules, NOT Dr. Hunter & Verna. The front desk @ CHS would not even alert Dr. Hunter of the emergency much less get him to call me back so I could talk to him to see if he thought the ER was the only way. I KNOW if Dr. Hunter had known I was having symtoms that scared me, he would have called me immediately. Dr. Hunter was always so kind, caring and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about him arguing with me, or ignoring what I was telling him. He knew that I never came to see him without a darn good reason which has been a problem for me at other places. It's always a great experience with Dr. Hunter and I've been a patient of his for many, many years. I will most definitely refer Dr. Hunter to others in need of an internist and I've sent many satisfied friends and aquaintances to him for care. He's made a difference in my life & my health as well as those of the people I've sent there. I'm so glad he's making a "change"!
