Even though hip replacement surgery have become “routine”, surgery itself poses some dangers. My goal was to find a local surgeon with impeccable credentials & a proven track record.
Various search engines yielded the typical litany of possibilities but the reviews offered via word-of-mouth for Dr. Lauro were not only good but stellar. Availability for an office visit was immediate; the office staff was highly professional and kind, & the scheduling for operative services was brief.
Throughout the entire process, I was put at ease with the knowledge, experience, concern & treatment both Dr. Lauro & his staff offered to me & my wife. Dr. Lauro was candid & straight forward in his dealings with both of us. The office staff is made up of an excellent group of professional, friendly, caring & knowledgeable individuals who exemplify the meaning of patient care & respect.
Based upon my experience with Dr. Lauro & his staff, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, family or friends.

Osteoarthritis, both hips. Dr. Lauro replaced both hips over a 4 month period 2017. Selecting him, one of the best choices I have made in my lifetime. He did a great job, both surgeries, setting me up to work hard on rehab and having a great outcome. I'm pain free for the first time in 5 years. I highly recommend him, PA Emily, and his entire staff.

Dr Lauro did my left knee surgery 11 weeks ago. Dr Lauro is a wonderful surgeon. When I first went to him, he pulled up my x Ray's that I had taken at the hospital, he explained why my knee was hurting. I had no cartilage in my knee. The surgery went very well and he was excellent. I will recommend Dr Lauro to anyone

DR. Gregory Lauro performed left hip replacement surgery on me and took away my pains and problems of many years. He kept me well informed of all procedures, was very professional, polite and always seemed concerned of what I told him. Would highly recommend him.

Dr Lauro performed a Bi Lateral hip replacement on me three weeks ago and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome. I have had minimal pain, mostly around the two incisions. I have been off the prescription pain MED's since week two, taking only an occasional Tylenol. Dr Lauro is attentive, caring and takes the time to explain everything in detail. I was immediately impressed with his professional demeanor. His staff is friendly and courteous.
I give Dr Lauro my highest recommendation!

My experience with Dr. Lauro was very positive! At my first visit, an X-ray was taken of my right knee. Dr. Lauro thoroughly explained the problem and outlined the possible courses of action. Surgery was scheduled in a timely manner and the outcome has been ver successful!!

Dr. Lauro is an excellent orthopedic surgeon I developed many problems that arose from another doctors care Dr. Lauro handled all of them. I cannot thank him enough for his excellent care and his expertise in his field of practice after a year of hardly being able to walk I am driving and walking with a cane and doing things as I did before I cannot thank him enough.

Dr. Lauro did a partial left knee replacement for me on June 13, 2016 and I have been walking without a cane for nearly a month now. He is attentive and very professional. He listens more than he talks but provides detailed easily understood information. His staff is courteous and his practice clean. I would recommend him to anyone with any joint issues. I should note that we tried other treatments before agreeing on the surgery.

Dr Lauro did both hip replacements in oct and nov and i can't say enough about the excellent job that he did. after 3 years, the pain was gone immediately after each side was done. both sides are even and functioning like new. i could barely walk when i met him in oct and by christmas i could walk with a normal gait. once finished rehabbing, you won't even be able to tell anything was wrong. this guy and his staff GAVE ME MY LIFE BACK!!!! definitely call Dr Lauro if you are in need of an ortho!!!!!
