Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine. It seemed like they were trying to rush my appointment and were annoyed to be helping me. It was obvious that they wanted to be somewhere else. They are nice but WAY overbooked and the staff is clearly overworked. They should really allow for more time in between appointments if they want to keep any business. The Doctor seemed nice and caring enough but his office and billing staff were difficult and broke promises the Doctor had personally given me. So either the Doctor has no integrity or his protective staff were not concerned with checking with him personally
I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here. I am never put on hold for a long time and love knowing that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered. I love how attentive they are here. Even when notified that they have a personal phone call, they always wait to take it later. Their full attention is always on me and it makes me feel special. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future.
I have been fortunate to be a patient of the Takacs Clinic for 15+ years. Much to the contrary of another reviewer on here, I have found the efficiency of the physicians and their staff to be of the utmost quality throughout the years. Dr John Takacs is an excellent physician and treats each and every patient as a human being should be treated, with excellent care and compassion.
I find it only fair to comment briefly on another of the physicians that practices in the Takacs Clinic. Dr Debra Glasser has also been, for me, an excellent physician. She too is compassionate and thorough with her examinations and treatments.
As for the use of herbs and natural remedies, I have been very pleased with the knowledge the physicians have in that area. I have found that incorporating herbs and/or natural remedies into part of my daily regimine, I have been by 'far' healthier than in my past. I appreciate that prescription medications are not the 'only' solution offered at this clinic. Don't misunderstand me.....this clinic does practice traditional medicine, just with an added plus of natural therapy available if you so desire.
Be weary when you visit this clinic. While some doctors here are really terrific, unfortunately John Takacs works with another Doctor, Dr. Deborah Glasser, whom my husband and use to have as our primary care doctor.
She over perscibed me with Aleve for pain and then when I complained about overdose symptoms and even more pan 15 days and 30 days after taking it, she ignored me and was negligent inhelping me. Further, she could see me or even call me in on the cancellation list for over 3 weeks. Thus, I had to see a specialist, get an endoscopy, all proving that because she wouldn't see me sooner than April 30th she caused a terrible month for me to be suffering in pain.
I strongly suggest that this clinic be aware of her horrible actions not only in ignoring me and just having her nurse offer an herb on the 7th of April, that she also has rude and ignorant office staff who seem to not give emergency messages to the doctor and accurately describe the pain a patient is having. Horrible place!
