I know that they have a lot of clients here so I understand that they many not remember my name every time, but I am always really impressed when I walk in the door and am greeted by name. They always try to make the effort and for this I am grateful. They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I was explained every possible side effect before being prescribed medication, and was fully informed about both the positive and negative outcomes, and the risks of procedures. They were extremely informative. The chairs in their waiting room were some of the best I’ve ever seen. I could have easily dozed off while waiting to see the doctor.

I recently went to Norman Regional Hospital ER to diagnose why I was cramping and bleeding heavily. We figured out later on with no help or support of the ER doctors that I had an ectopic pregnancy that had possibly ruptured. I was stuck in the ER freaking out because they weren't telling me anything!! Finally my doctor...Dr Shelba Bethel...came to the rescue and calmly explained eveerything and answered every single one of my questions. The ER docs made it seem like I was going to drop dead if I walked out of the hospital...actually that was his exact words...truth be told FINALLY was that I was really not in any immediate danger and the ER doc frightened me for no reason and Dr. Bethel was furious and did everything I repeat that I wanted and felt comfortable with. I will highly recommend anyone and everyone go to either her or her daughter at the brookhaven medical center well women anyways lol! She is truly an amazing woman and has been delivering babies and treating women for a very long long time!!!
