It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. After I told them that I didn't want my child to get certain vaccinations, they were very kind and considerate, and respected my decision. I really appreciated having a pediatrician that let me make what I felt were the right decisions for my child. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. Her nurses are soo sweet and understanding and I completely trust this Dr. I will always come here =)

i have been with the pediatric center for many years, and up until the most recent visit i was for the most part satisfied with the way things were taken care of when it came to my three girls. last weekend my daughter woke up with blood in her urine so i immediately got her into the doctors office (franklin park office) they were unable to do the urine test there due to the amount of blood in her urine so she was given lab orders to have done, which we had done at the hospital as soon as we left the doctors office. on monday stephanie the nurse called to see how my daughter was doing, i told her that i had the test done at st. annes hospital so she stated she was going to call to get the results. later monday afternoon stephanie the nurse called back to inform me that ALL the test results came back with nothing abnormal or wrong and that my daughter was to DISCONTINUE the use of the antibiotics she was given on saturday because there was nothing wrong, but they would like to see her back in two weeks for a recheck. later monday evening i received another phone call from on of the NP that had taken care of my daughter on saturday at the doctors office, she was calling to inform me that she had read over the test results and found them to be positive for a UTI and strep. this brought great concern to me due to the fact that the stephanie the nurse had not only left me a voice mail stating nothing was wrong with my daughter but i verbally spoke with stephanie as well and she stated to me that nothing was wrong with my daughter. my other concerns are that not one time was it mentioned when i was given the wrong test results that they were concerned about the blood in the urine and not one time was it mentioned that they wanted to find out where the blood was coming from, why is the nurse calling and giving the results, do the doctors not look at the results before the nurses call? i went to the doctors office and got a copy of the report and myself not being a doctor or a nurse CAN CLEARLY see where it states the results as POSITIVE. what would have happened if the NP had not called me back with the correct results?? a UTI and strep may not be a deadly thing to have but they are serious conditions that do need to be treated appropriately. i now have great concerns with this! how many other times has a parent been given the wrong information and test results due to a nurses error. and why is that you can never speak with dr. hansen or see her??

Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here.
