Yes, it was convenient

Not at all! They were happy to address every concern I had

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance

Absolutely, It is the safest neighborhood around

Dr. Simon is a specialist in pediatric eye care. He is well-renowned in his field and has the respect of his peers. While I felt his bedside manner had room for improvement, I believe he is completely competent to care for my children's sight. On balance, I have found no reason to bring my family anywhere else.

Unfortunately, this practice appears to be the only place to go for specialty pediatric eye care. It is unfortunate because I found Dr. Simon to be pompous, condescending and rude. I do not think he gave a thorough evaluation - the tech did the prelim work and when Dr. Simon came into the exam, it was evident that he did not bother to read the history of the patient. He then questioned my knowledge of my child's previous condition in the most condescending way I have ever experienced. He lacks a warm and fuzzy bedside manner which is fine if you feel the care you are receiving is the best but it certainly did not feel that way. In my opinion, his ability to relate to children was very low.

I was referred to Dr Simon for possible eye surgery. The quality of care I received both at his office and at Albany Medical Center for surgery was exceptional. I highly recommend Dr Simon. He is not only and excellent surgeon, he is also very kind and caring.
