I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH DR.TEPLITZ. I WENT IN FOR THE FIRST TIME BECAUSE I WAS HAVING DANDRUFF AND WANTED A MEDICATED SHAMPOO. DURING THIS VISIT SHE TOLD ME THAT I HAD ACNE AND WOULD BENEFIT FROM A CHEMICAL. I LATER HAD AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO THE CHEMICAL PEEL AND MY FACE BECAME VERY IRRITATED, SWOLLEN AND I DEVELOPED BUMPS ON MY CHEEKS. I DO NOT BLAME DR. TEPLITZ FOR THE ALLERGIC REACTION THAT I HAD BUT HER TREATMENT OF ME DURING THIS INCIDENT WAS APPALLING. SHE WAS CONDESCENDING AND UNCARING. WHEN I CALLED THE OFFICE AND TOLD THEM ABOUT MY REACTION SHE DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO SEE ME. SHE SAID SHE WOULD JUST SEND A PRESCRIPTION INTO THE PHARMACY. WHEN I TOLD HER THAT I WOULD PREFER TO BE SEEN BY HER SHE AGREED BUT SAID MY INSURANCE WOULDN'T COVER THE VISIT. WHEN I SAW HER SHE WAS CONDESCENDING AND NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO MY FACE. I LATER WENT TO THE FOLLOW UP VISIT AND HER BEHAVIOR WAS THE SAME. BEWARE OF THIS DOCTOR. SHE DOES NOT LISTEN TO HER PATIENTS!!!!!!

The only reason I stopped going to Dr. Teplitz was that she stopped taking my insurance. Now she does, so I'm going back. I was always satisfied with Dr. Teplitz and her office staff.
