I have been with Dr. Epstein for about 3-4 years now and I have recently just switched my OBGYN because of a few issues that left me frustrated and unhappy. Over the last few years being with Dr. Esptein I have only continued to go there because of how professional and skillful she is. However, whenever I have had to call the office, check in for an appointment or get a perscription from her office I have had nothing but problems and additude from them all. There has not been a time when I have had a pleasant and easy going conversation with anyone from her office. Recently, I went into the office for a yeast infection and my appointment was at 9:30 AM. I was told my perscription would be sent in to my pharmacy within the hour and I could go pick it up but to call the pharmacy before I went. An hour later, I called the pharmacy and they had not heard anything from my doctor. I called the office, which was not pleasant to deal with and was told within the hour they could call it in. 2 hours went by and I still did not have my perscription called it. Long story short, 5 hours after my appointment because I threatened to come back to the office and pick the perscription up myself was it called in. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and still went back. I called for an annual appointment and could not get in for over a month so I asked if they could call in a perscription for my birth control since I would not be able to get in for awhile. They said yes they would call today. When I went in to pick up my perscciption a week later, my pharmacy told me they had not heard from my provider and they had also been trying to fax and call them for a refill for about 3 weeks and had not heard anything back from them. At that point, I was frustrated with all the stress from the office that I called and canceled my appointment and told them they could take me off their patient list. There were no questions asked why and the receptionist responded by saing "Thank you!" and hanging up. I think Debra Epstein is an amazing OBGYN and I wish she had the staff the back up her skills and make her look even more professional. My mother also goes to her and is switching as well because she has had the same issues with her office staff. I am not sure if she is aware of how her office treats her patients but I am offended by the way they think they can treat her patients all the time.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was not that friendly, especially when I asked to have paperwork filled out so I could order my perscriptions online and they didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I feel like my appointment with the nurse practioner was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. I had a concern about a certain birth control I was taking at the time. Instead of taking my concern and providing me with a different brand they were condescending towards me, made me feel stupid and didn't change my bc. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but luckily I did find another office that is closer, with better hours and nicer staff.
