South County Pediatrics makes an extra effort to emphasize preventative care, and provide me with helpful information about child safety and nutrition. I feel that they genuinely care about my children's health. My children have been under the care of Dr. Ortiz for many years now. Through the years I have referred several parents/children to her. She is very knowledgeable and great with children!

Does this provider ever overbook appointments here?
No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
Does this pediatrician emphasize preventative care, such as child safety and nutrition?
Absolutely! They gave me plenty of information about child safety and nutrition
If your child is sick can the pediatrician see him/her on the same day?
Yes, if my child is sick they get them in right away
Is this pediatrician patient with first-time mothers?
Definitely! They are happy to answer every first-time mother's question, no matter how basic

They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional. It was so nice to arrive and see many fully qualified staff members. I've gone to some places that were very understaffed and I've never had a good experience. This place had a great staff though, and I'll definitely be going back. I was in awe at the level of service I received. They completely surpassed all my expectations and I will absolutely be going back.

I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here. It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. I was worried that they wouldn't respect my views and opinions on parenting issues, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they were very respectful. I left feeling very encouraged.

I couldn't believe how patient they were with first-time mothers. It didn't matter how basic the first-time mother's question was, they were always happy to spend time explaining everything to them. I love that they always make sure I'm able to be with my child at all times. They go above and beyond to make sure my child and I are always comfortable. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I couldn't believe how great their office looked. It was very obvious that they took pride in the office's appearance. It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important.
