Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine. I was never able to relax during my appointment. I was on edge the whole time. I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through. i was offered a payment plan of 2 paymens for something over 800 when i said i could not afford it i was left in the chair by everyone so as soon as they found out i could not afford their payment plan of over 500$ to start i was left. that made me change dental providers so they are very friendly until they see you have money issues.

My teeth cleanings have always been very comfortable, and I've never experienced any pain. They always go above and beyond to make sure I'm relaxed. Before they even scheduled my treatment, they went over in detail all their different payment plans and exactly how much my procedure would cost. It was nice knowing exactly how much I was going to have to pay beforehand. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. I was in awe at the level of service I received. They completely surpassed all my expectations and I will absolutely be going back. They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and important.

They recommended a whole bunch of dental procedures that I didn't think were necessary, even after I told them I wasn't interested. I felt like they were just trying to make money off me. I love when I leave the dentist and I'm able to feel how much cleaner my mouth is, and I definitely felt that after my appointment here. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. They were so nice and professional and even called me to remind me about my upcoming appointment.

Please do not go to Bay Area Southern Dental, as they run you in like a herd of cattle, first off my husband and I had an appt for dentures, the dentist who hardly spoke english came in, thought I was going to get an consultation and all she did was talk to her asst why she was in my mouth and then she was gone, the next thing the finance guy came in and told us that it would be 6500 for the both of us. I had 18 teeth pulled, each appt was made, I was not told what was going to happen on that appt until I got there, again, the dentist just basically says hello and gone, they pulled the teeth in which I thought should of been in sessions, but I beieve that they try get all done so you will have to go back, she pulled teeth and gave me pain meds for 4 days and refused to renew, after pulling 18 teeth I was having ear aches and all, I go in for adjustments and the dentist does not come in to take a look at how teeth are healing, the asst does all this who is not a dentist, these dental stores are not what they are made to be, they overbook, your waiting for hours, the staff is not friendly, they do not greet you when you walk in, I was overcharged for a tooth that was not there, then they tried to say that it was okay because they gave me a discount on pulling teeth, in which I was appriciated but then overcharged, the lady was rude about it, I do not recommend this site to anyone as my money is spent so I have to continue

I went into the Webster office for a cleaning and an evaluation. When I went into the X-ray room there was a sign posted $50 exam and x-rays, I thought great, but the web ad states free exam and x-ray. I was getting a bit skeptical. After an exam by the dentist, they had to send a finance guy in. This is alarming, I just need a cleaning wasn't sure when financing became a part of that. After the finance guy comes in he tells me I need several crowns and major work done and after my insurance it would be $6399.00. I told him I will not finance this I want to pay in cash and spread it out over a few months, he states well we really need to do it quickly, these problems won't fix themselves. After I continued to refuse their financing options he said that I alteast need to do the "deep cleaning" and it would be $479.00. I asked about the insurance he claims the insurance will cover $123 of it and I needed to pay the rest, I asked what about the insurance covering 2 cleanings a year, this is one of them, he said that they couldn't do that kind of cleaning on me that I needed another type of cleaning. After reluctantly agreeing I went into the cleaning room, there was no "deep cleaning" that went on, however I was told that I would have to come back in 2 more times that the cleanings take 3 visits. I asked why and she said that's the ADA rules and they have to follow them. I was irritated and ready to go home. After paying for the cleaning and going home I realized that they charged me $91 for the *free exam and x-ray, I got taken for a ride. People have to trust their dentist to be honest with them and provide and perform only the services necessary for each patient. I feel taken advantage of and will continue to let everyone know. If you go to Southern Dental be on guard, their main concern is no where near your mouth or the health of it.
